in an effort to offset rising oil costs

certain airlines have begun taking alternative fuel sources more seriously. while it's still going to be a while before the first soybean-powered A380 sputters its tofutastic way to heathrow, one technology that's already gaining ground is the use of LPP (little people power):

lpp

why waste valuable fuel on those lengthy ground maneuvers when you could harness up some LPP and have a jetfuelfree taxi service?

the cost of oil- $135/barrel. the cost of LPP- $50/barrel.

you do the math.
